Hey, I'm Adina. Your typical awesome writer with a day job. I'm a self-published author, humorist, and copywriter.
I'm an introvert who loves telling strangers all my business. My essays have been published on Hippocampus Magazine, Very Smart Brothas, midnight & indigo, Slackjaw, and more.
When I'm not penning my own stories, I like to lend my talents to large-scale companies and small business owners, turning their vision into a reality. Through newsletters, e-books, blog posts, and other content, my goal is to increase brand presence, generate sales leads, and foster relationships. Basically, I want to see folks win, win, win no matter what.
As a native of Washington, DC, my love for the arts is deeply rooted in my hometown. I'm a proud graduate of Duke Ellington School of the Arts, and I've earned an M.F.A. in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts from University of Baltimore, and a B.A. in English from University of Maryland, College Park.
Simply put, I'm just a lover of words, chicken wings and mambo sauce, good books, corny jokes, The Golden Girls, 90s R&B, and long naps.
